On May 11th, we hosted the Elementary School Championship Track Meet at Nipomo High School, welcoming over 600 attendees and 240 young athletes from Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo County. It was a fun-filled day of track and field events, celebrating the talents and enthusiasm of elementary-aged kids in our community. Hosted by NHS, CCAF, and Kiwanis of Greater Pismo Beach, this fundraising event supports Lucia Mar School District PE programs. Open to all 1st through 6th graders, including homeschoolers and out-of-area athletes, with scholarships available. Registration opens soon. The event was a fantastic success, bringing together families and athletes for a memorable day of competition and camaraderie.
