By providing opportunities for young individuals to grow and develop in athletics, we aim to empower the next generation and foster a love for. Programs & Impact

Come together for a family-friendly event that offers an ideal introduction to the sport of and field. The phrase "all comers" means that everyone is invited to participate, no matter their skill level Additionally, this event serves as a fundraiser for the Arroyo Grande High School Cross Country Track and Field Programs.

The Peregrines Track Club fosters a passion for track and field among athletes in rd to 8th grade. volunteer coaches are USATF certified and Safe Sport trained, ensuring a safe environment. We focus skill development and teamwork, offering opportunities for competition and fun. Join us to inspire young athletes to reach their full potential!

The Central Coast Athletics Foundation Scholarship aims to recognize and support outstanding students in the San Luis Obispo County who excel in while demonstrating leadership and commitment to their communities. This scholarship provides financial assistance to help recipients pursue their educational goals, encouraging them to continue making a positive impact in their lives and the lives of others. year, deserving students are selected based on their resilience and dedication, with winners honored at the Elementary School Track Championship Meet. 

PE Best Program

The PE Best Program is a rewarding initiative recognizes and honors 6th-grade students in the Lucia Mar Unified School District for their exceptional achievements in physical education. This program partners with local businesses to provide select students with a PE Best t-shirt, a meal from Hoagies, and free ice cream Hubbalicious. By highlighting these students' hard work and dedication, we aim to inspire a love for physical activity and promote a healthy lifestyle within our community. Join us in celebrating these outstanding young individuals!

Our Definition Of Athletics 

Athletics, a of sporting competition, includes track and field events, foot races, and has been featured in every Summer Olympics since 1896. Originating from ancient Greek Olympics, the contemporary program comprises track and field, road running, and race walking events, with cross country running included in earlier.

2026 CCAF Scholarship 

The Central Coast Athletics Foundation (CCAF) Scholarship is designed for high school seniors from Arroyo Grande or Nipomo High School who have shown commitment to youth athletics and positively impacted their community. Eligible applicants must have participated in Cross Country or Track and Field, volunteered at C events, and maintained good academic standing while planning to enroll in college or trade school.

Submit application including your name and contact information, to: CCAF Board President, Heath Owens   heathowens84@gmail.com Entries will be accepted until the end of the day on April 27, 2026.

Four scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded, with announced on May 1, 2026, during the Kiwanis Elementary School Track Championships.
